But likewise, I've posted A LOT regarding the Norinco JW-14, my one true love in the rimfire realm. Personally, I'd take it over a 10/22 or 597 any day of the week, that's how much I'm in love with that rifle. I know it's not all that common, but God is it cheap, reliable, and relatively accurate (at least for me)!
Anybody else here own one? If so, how do you like it? Any aftermarket goodies on it? Also, where would you find higher capacity magazines? I have the factory 10-round mag, a Marlin 10-rounder, and two Marlin 7-round mags that just needed a bit of filing to fit in good. Now that you mention it, I have seen people on YouTube using the 25 round Champion mags as well.
The plastic magazines they come with are nearly impossible to find and they're cheaply made. I'm definitely looking into getting different magazines that will work well. From what I've read, the Marlin 10 round mags seem to be the easiest to fit with the JW-14's. You would also probably have to make your own custom stock though since I don't believe there are any after market stocks for them.
